ST Tamas Ma’d Dry Furmint
Just rolls off your tongue doesn’t it? Okay, so maybe it’s not the easiest wine to pronounce but it is a delight to drink.
Ma’d is a village in the Tokaj region of Hungary and boy do those Hungarians know a thing or two about flavours! We’re talking apricot, peach and even a touch of ginger – a simply brilliant combination!
A great easy drinking wine and quite frankly, you’d be Ma’d not to love it!
Château De Sours Rosé
If you’re not on the fizz train by now, honestly, where have you been? With so many variations of the good stuff, it can be hard to know where to start.
Château De Sours Rosé is glowing example of a great French alternative to Champagne. It’s fabulously fruity and brilliantly bubbly in equal measure, with strawberry and raspberry flavours it is the perfect summer tipple.
Tramuz Ribera Del Duero
Powerful, smoky and Spanish. No, we’re not talking about the hunk from the hotel last summer. Tramuz Ribera Del Duero is a rich, smooth tempranillo full of intense flavours and interesting aromas.
The thing that really makes this wine stand out from the crowd is its complex pallet of cocoa, white pepper, leather and tobacco – okay so they might sound questionable flavours for a bottle of wine, but trust us, they work.
Peroni Old Fashioned
It can be a struggle keeping everyone happy on a night out – “cocktails are for girls” - yes we know lads, you’re far too masculine to be caught sipping a Gin Berry Cobbler or a Chambord Spritz.
Well now the clever people at House of Peroni may have solved the age old problem of where to go for drinks on Saturday night. Two words – Peroni Infusions.
Our favourite is the Old Fashioned. A delicate balance of Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Woodford Reserve bourbon, topped off with a sugar syrup and a dash of Angostura bitters.
But don’t let the boys enjoy all the glory, the sweet citrus notes and crisp dry finish are a delight for any cocktail connoisseur.
Jäger Frappe
Jägermeister, vodka and tequila. It’s not as scary as it sounds. Well it might be, but it comes in a cute mini milk bottle so that balances it out, right?
This intriguing concoction is one of our alcoholic milkshakes made with light cream and to be enjoyed chilled – a glorious summer refreshment that packs a punch.
The rich coffee notes from the Cazcabel coffee tequila really sets this drink off and is the perfect accompaniment to the Absolut vanilla vodka.
We love this drink for turning the coffee shop frappe on its head and we promise you’ll never look back.
Vietnamese Soda
Designated drivers, we salute you and don’t think you should have to compromise on taste just because you’re going sober for the night.
Our softails are a taste bud revelation and are almost enough to convince us to keep off the juice for good…almost.
Close your eyes and you could be right back there on your gap year with the Vietnamese Soda. A tasty mix of ginger, lemongrass lime and apple juice, this refreshing non-alcoholic drink is a delight for designated drivers everywhere.
Bergamot and Pomegranate Iced Tea
A tea-based cocktail is great, but a tea-based cocktail served in a tea pot is even better.
Cîroc vodka is a favourite of ours, so teamed with Earl Grey syrup, pomegranate and mint it was always going to be a winner.
The fragrant flavours of the bergamot orange really add interest to this fruity iced tea and we think it’s a fabulously tasty drink to share with friends.
