First, there was Hygge, then Lagom, then 'Kalsarikännit' (translated literally, as drinking in your underwear) and now Midsommar (basically a celebration of the hot weather). No, we’re not having a ‘damn you auto-correct’ moment, we’re talking about Scandi fever that’s had us going nuts this summer.
Here’s a few reasons why we’re obsessed with Scandi chic...

It’s ‘traditional’ for the ladies to weave flowers through their hair and throw on something suitably summer - festival vibes with a sultry finish. Dust off your LWD (little white dress), grab your best pair of birkies and pop on an amazing midsommarkran, which is your biggest and brightest flower crown. Now it’s time to hit the bar.

Shaking your thing is a must during Midsommar where people of all ages gather around the maypole and strut their stuff in celebration. There is no need to wait until Saturday night to throw down your best moves though. No maypole, no problem! Just grab your girls and get creative. It’s all in the hips.
